Destin Fishing Rodeo 2026: How to Plan a Family Weekend Around It
We hear some version of this every fall. One person in the family wants to fish the Destin Fishing Rodeo. Everyone else wants a beach weekend. And nobody's quite sure how the rodeo works, or whether visitors can even take part.
Good news: it's one of the easiest big events on the Emerald Coast to build a family trip around. It runs all month, the weigh-ins are free to watch, and you don't need your own boat. Here's what's confirmed for 2026 and how we'd plan the weekend if it were our own family.
